Here’s my review of FortuneJack, an experienced crypto casino founded in 2014. Let’s see how FortuneJack is performing in 2026.

My verdict

FortuneJack was once a highly respected pioneer in the crypto casino space back in 2014, but now in 2026 things are somewhat different. FortuneJack got a Trust Score of 45.6/100 (Risky), which isn’t the best possible score to be honest.

I wouldn’t call FortuneJack a scam, but Bitcointalk and other forums are filled with unresolved disputes and complaints about failed JackToken launch. FortuneJack representatives seem to have abandoned their Bitcointalk thread, which they were once very active on.

A few years ago, FortuneJack also downgraded to a weaker Anjouan casino license. All this can be seen on the Community Score, where FortuneJack got a lower than average result of 21.1/50.

My customer support test didn’t go so well as the agent didn’t even know what was the current bonus for FJ, let alone knowing the basic bonus terms.

FortuneJack might work ok if you deposit and withdraw only smaller amounts. But in a nutshell, I see too many risks, and unclear direction for FortuneJack, so it might be a good idea to look for another crypto casino, with a more solid background and a better Trust Score. If things change for FortuneJack, I am happy to edit the review to a better form.

Technically, FortuneJack is a legitimate crypto casino owned by PlayWave SRL with an Anjouan casino license. However, player reputation in Bitcointalk and Reddit is far from perfect. In my opinion playing on FortuneJack is a bit risky now and I can’t say they would be generally trusted operator at the moment. So the answer is: No, as things stand in 2026, FortuneJack is not a legit crypto casino in my opinion.

Is FortuneJack KYC-free?

No, FortuneJack is not an anonymous casino. Their official terms require all players to fill in full personal profile details (full name, date of birth, residential address) before depositing or playing. Also, KYC inquiries may happen at any time, especially before bigger withdrawals.

Can I use a VPN on FortuneJack?

Using a VPN is not recommended. While some review sites advertise FortuneJack as VPN-friendly, Clause 2.3 of their Privacy Policy states they monitor connections for VPN usage. If you access FortuneJack from a restricted territory using a VPN, they can use this clause to void your bets and possibly even confiscate your balance.

Does FortuneJack accept US players?

No. The United States is explicitly listed under FortuneJack’s Prohibited Territories in their terms and conditions, along with the United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and Spain.

Community Score

I manually searched for all legit messages about experiences on FortuneJack Casino. I searched Reddit, Bitcointalk and other forums from about 24 months timeframe. Here are the numeric calculations and the next chapter will explain more about the sentiment on Reddit and Bitcointalk.

How Community Score is formed: I manually search for user experiences on FortuneJack casino from Reddit, Bitcointalk and other forums. When I see a legit message (positive, negative) from a legit user with enough karma or merit, I will copy-paste that message to my review txt file. Based on this file, I will calculate the Community Score.

All casinos start with pre-put 5 positive and 10 total comments. This makes a barrier for casinos with very few comments. For example a casino with only 3 positive and 0 negative comments cannot score 50/50 on Community Score, but earns 30.77/50. A casino with 30 positive and 0 negative comments would earn 43.75/50. Also, a casino with zero comments online will get a Community Score of 25/50.

Reddit & Bitcointalk sentiment

What kinds of things the Reddit community and forums like Bitcointalk actually say about FortuneJack? Here’s my selection of the most useful comments and threads.

Bitcointalk

The Bitcointalk.org original FortuneJack thread is redflagged, which is not a good sign. Also, the official FortuneJack user on Bitcointalk seems to have very low trust rating (although has acquired a lot of merit). A 100% legit crypto casino wouldn’t have their official account and official thread flagged so overly red. Also, seems like FortuneJack has abandoned the Bitcointalk thread for good.

There has been a lot of negativity about the FortuneJack’s own Jacktoken, which apparently has a lot of scam accusations and didn’t end well. Basically many people just lost their money on the token and got tokens worth zero (or no tokens at all). FortuneJack stayed silent on this.

Also, people on Bitcointalk discuss a major incident where FortuneJack froze a Bitcointalker’s account stealing over $100 000 worth of winnings. This incident gained publicity on Reddit too. I think this happened for real as the evidence looks legit. When I look over the negativity this caused, FortuneJack did a major mistake not dealing with this case in a better way. Player and community trust is everything and FJ doesn’t seem to do so good here.

The recent update to this matter is, that FortuneJack lost the case in court, but has still about $20,000 to pay to the player which they haven’t done yet.

Reddit

Finding legit discussions on Reddit was a bit hard. I found threads about FJ withholding $120 000 of winnings on sportsbetting, which may be the same case discussed on Bitcointalk.

On Reddit, there is a subreddit for FortuneJack that was created back in 2014. This subreddit seems to be abandoned however as there are just scam accusations from recent years.

Summarizing the whole player sentiment on Reddit and Bitcointalk: There are just too much signs of freezing accounts, scamming people with tokens (JackToken) and being totally absent on player’s problems.

FortuneJack might not be 100% scam right now, but there are too many reddish flags out there, and FortuneJack seems to be doing nothing to correct their reputation. So as is, I can’t recommend FortuneJack based on their poor reputation online.

Casino overview

Some FortuneJack history first for context

FortuneJack is one of the oldest active crypto casinos founded in 2014. I remember FortuneJack being one of the pioneers in the crypto casino industry. They had one of the biggest bonuses and widest game choices by far. FortuneJack was also openly marketed as KYC friendly casino and they rarely asked for documents back then.

I remember, that they also had a wide selection of in-house Provably Fair games, which was very rare at the time among bigger crypto casinos (not just “one dice game” casino).

Of course, when the crypto casino industry got more mature with licenses and (probably) banks needing more KYC protocols, also FortuneJack started the shift out of the crypto-only world into a more mainstream casino.

FortuneJack now

Before, FortuneJack was operated by Nexus Group Enterprises N.V., a company that was registered in Curaçao, but was in real life based in Tblisi, Georgia. Also, FJ had a Curaçao casino licence until at least 2023.

Since then, things have changed and the company mentioned on the website is PlayWave SRL (in 2026), and also the casino license has been switched to Anjouan license, which is not so strong in financial requirements and player protection.

Alongside these corporate changes, FortuneJack tried to modernize the game launching its own native cryptocurrency, JackToken, which didn’t go very smoothly. The JackToken was launched dead on arrival and lacked liquidity, leaving early adaptors with practically nothing.

The direction in 2026 remains unclear. If there are any signs, I will report them here as soon as possible.

Bonuses

My rating for bonuses values wagering the most (max 5p.), because that decides if the bonus is even worth taking. Bonus value (max 2p.) tells how high the bonus is capped. Bonus terms (max 3p.) looks for unfair terms that may affect the bonus value. See the full review methodology here.

FortuneJack used to offer massive match bonuses up to 1.5 BTC etc., but now they have switched to a different deposit bonus.

The total welcome pack with 4 deposits includes a maximum of 5 000 free spins with a relatively low 10x wagering to get the free spins, and a higher 30x wagering requirement for possible winnings.

But, the bonus terms are so restricting, I cannot recommend this bonus as is. If you want to choose FortuneJack anyway, you would do better without any bonuses in my opinion.

Wagering requirements 3/5

Wagering requirements are quite fair with 10x deposit to get the free spins, 30x wagering requirement to unlock possible winnings.

Adding up the 10x and 30x grants FortuneJack an average score of 3/5 on wagering.

Bonus value 0/2

While the free spins amounts might seem plenty, the value is still quite low compared to other bonuses.

You have to wager your deposit 10x even to get the free spins, and wager the possible winnings again 30x. All winnings are capped to 5x (which is only told in the bonus T&C).

Based on the complicated and partly hidden terms, I have no option to give 0/2 on this bonus value for FortuneJack.

Bonus terms0/3

Because the bonus terms are so restrictive, I cannot recommend this bonus like it is now. So unfortunately 0/3 for FortuneJack here.

Here are the most important findings, if you want to see yourself:

• Remember to activate the bonus before making a deposit.
• The moment you open a qualifying slot to use your free spins, your session becomes permanently locked to that specific title. So you can’t switch free spins to another slots during the bonus.
• The free spins bonus expires in 7 days.
• For no-deposit bonuses: After completing wagering requirements for no deposit bonus, the funds will be pending until you have deposited at least 1x amount you have won (or its equivalent in other currencies) in 7 days from completing wagering requirements.
• Wagering: 10x deposit wagering is needed to get the free spins, 30x wagering requirement to unlock possible winnings.
• The maximum winnings that will be paid out is 5x the initial bonus amount. Any winnings exceeding this amount will be forfeited.
• All free spins must be used within 3 days of being credited.
• Free spins can be found from Freespins Bank, and you can only use them in certain slots from providers like Pragmatic Play, Betsoft etc. See the full list on the FortuneJack website. Once you lock in the slot of your choice, you cannot change it anymore for the free spins.

Reload bonuses

Here are the bonuses after the first deposit bonus:

• 2nd deposit bonus: 150% Freespins based on the deposit amount, max reward 1 500 free spins. Example: Deposit $100, get 150 free spins after 10x wagering.
• 3rd deposit bonus: 100% Freespins based on the deposit amount, max reward 1 000 free spins. Example: Deposit $100, get 150 free spins after 10x wagering.
• 4th deposit bonus: 150% Freespins based on the deposit amount, max reward 1 500 free spins. Example: Deposit $100, get 150 free spins after 10x wagering.

VIP benefits

FortuneJack has a Loyalty program, where you can get a cashback from 2% (Starter level Bronze I) going up to 15% cashback and 5% rakeback + 50% weekly reload bonuses (Level Legend).

Probably no one can reach this top level to be honest, but for example Silver I level grants you 2.75% of cashback, 0.5% rakeback and 25% weekly reload bonuses, which is better than nothing.

Deposits & withdrawals

100% transparency: I test the casinos making few smaller deposits and withdrawals. As a Finnish citizen, everything should work well for me KYC-wise.

However, Community Score follows Reddit & forum sentiment. That tracks KYC policies, high rollers, player experiences all over the world and how withdrawals work on a larger scale.

Deposits 2/2

I made several Bitcoin deposits. All of the deposits were processed within 5 minutes with no issues.

The transactions screen is a bit illogical as it opens the games section first. You have to switch to deposits or withdrawals, if you wish to check them.

The minimum deposit limits are small, being about 0.90€ on BTC and LTC, and 1 USDT on Tether. No problems here, so 2/2 out of deposits.

Withdrawals 1/3

My test withdrawals were processed fine with Bitcoin. They were not the fastest, but were completed in about 10 minutes (enough confirmations to be sure).

There are also withdrawal fees (Network fees in FortuneJack language). Few examples of fees here:

• 0.00006537 BTC = about 3.5€
• 0.02377555 LTC = about 0.90€
• 4 USDT

FortuneJack doesn’t show the blockchain transaction IDs at all on deposits and withdrawals. This takes away one point here. Also the withdrawal fees take one additional point away, so 1/3 from here.

Withdrawal limits & terms 2/3

Minimum withdrawal limits are very high on FortuneJack. Here are few examples:

• 50 USDT
• 1.188… LTC = about 45€
• 0.00082… BTC = about 45€ also

My hunch is (based on my experience with FortuneJack) that the withdrawal limits and fees are somewhat fixed on FIAT currency amounts, that’s why the crypto amounts have so much decimal numbers.

As a whole, fees and minimum limits are way too high. Many people can get their funds trapped inside the casino, if your LTC balance falls below 45€ for instance.

I couldn’t find any evidence of maximum withdrawal limits.

The basic AML (anti-money laundering) requirement for deposits is 2x, which is a bit higher than standard.

One point is deducted based on high withdrawal limits.

Crypto support 2/2

FortuneJack supports BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, LTC, USDC, DOGE, TRX, POL and DASH.

On the network side, USDT supports ETH (ERC20), Tron (TRC20), BNB (BEP20), SOL and POLYGON, and USDC supports the same, except not Tron.

The crypto selection is enough to get Fortunejack 2/2.

Games

Games & providers 2.5/3

FortuneJack has a vast game selection of 4958 slots from my location (Finland) to be exact, from 50 game providers. There is also sports & eSports betting available.

Breakdown by game type:

• Slots: 4958 titles from 50 game providers. Pragmatic Play has the biggest amount of them, 546 titles on my region to be exact.
• Table games: 100+. Includes non-live versions of Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Video Poker.
• Instant wins games: 92. Fast-paced arcade-style games like Plinko, Mines and Astro.
• Crash games: 44. There are games like Stellar, Rocketon and JetX.

FortuneJack hosts games from over 50 different game providers, at least from my region (Finland).

As a whole, the game selection is very good. Around 50 providers and 5000 games gets almost the max score with 2.5/3 here.

Live casino 2/2

When I am writing this, there are 215 live casino tables available.

The selection on live side is very wide as there are many major providers (Evolution and Pragmatic Play) and also many other smaller providers to choose from.

The search function is flawless, it is easy to choose for example Baccarat tables from Evolution for instance. FortuneJack gets 2/2 on this category.

Originals & fairness 0/2

Right now, FortuneJack doesn’t offer any so called Originals games.

They used to have a lot of their in-house made provably games years ago when I reviewed and followed the casino between 2015 – 2020, but apparently not anymore. So 0/2 here.

RTP transparency 0.5/2

RTP Transparency is on a standard level. The RTPs have to be checked separately from each slot information or settings screen.

There isn’t any tool to search for slots or games by highest RTP unfortunately. This offering gets the standard score of 0.5/2 here.

Betting 1/1

FortuneJack offers a pretty standard selection of sports & eSports types on the betting side.

• Sports betting: 50+ sports types. An extensive list of sports types featuring few special ones like Formula 2, Pro Wrestling, Speedway, Snooker and Kabaddi (I googled it’s an Indian contact team sport).
• eSports betting: 15+ games. Featuring games like CS, Dota 2, League of Legends, Valorant, Mobile Legends, StarCraft 2, Overwatch 2, Crossfire, Rocket League, FC 26, NBA 2K26, Age of Empires, Standoff 2, Cricket 24 and my personal favorite PUBG (nice!).

Usability & support

Desktop usability2/3

The desktop usability is fine on FortuneJack. The sidebar navigation panel is easy to use and all necessary functions can be found easily.

However, the speed of the site is sluggish. All commands take a noticeable time to go through, and some times the whole site went to “thinking mode” with just FortuneJack loading animation rolling on the center.

The cashier is informative and easy to use, no problems on that.

Mobile usability2/3

FortuneJack works ok on mobile, the design is responsive and all finger tap areas are large enough. The design is following an app-style layout, with menu buttons on the lower site and cashier/profile buttons on the upper side.

Speedwise, also mobile usability is hindered by noticeable lag. This is something many casinos overlook, but if you test let’s say Stake or BitStarz (the fastest UI’s I have tested), the difference is huge. These small things may also make a difference why especially Stake (and also BitStarz) have been very successful in their fields.

FortuneJack provides 24/7 customer service with live chat and email: support@fortunejack.com.

I also did a simple test for the customer support. I asked few things about the bonuses that wasn’t explained in the bonus terms.

According to FortuneJack support in March 2026, there is no max win limit on this free spins deposit bonus. Which is wrong, as the limit is 5x according to FortuneJack terms.

At some point I was laughing on my computer, thinking I would be in a Little Britain comedy show with someone saying “computer says no” or “I know”.

This level of support gives FortuneJack only 1/4 for now. If this was just a bad day for the support agent, I will revisit the support test another day to see if this is common procedure or just an exception.

But here’s the story of my customer support test:

Security & transparency

On this chapter I will scan the terms & conditions, inspect the KYC policy & general casino reputation.

Licensing & transparency 1/2

Operator: Play Wave SRL, a limited liability company registered in Costa Rica (Company registration number: CE-2024-206981). Their registered address is in San José, Santa Ana, Costa Rica.

License: They operate under License No. ALSI-202411021-FI1, issued and regulated by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of Comoros.

FortuneJack previously operated under a Curaçao license but has apparently switched to a weaker Anjouan license (with player protection terms).

While a Curaçao casino license is still weak compared to real money casino licenses (from UK, Malta or Estonia for example), it’s the best that crypto casinos can get. So transforming to a weaker and cheaper Anjouan license gives FortuneJack only 1/2 on this category.

T&C Fairness 1/2

So, in case you don’t want to read that all, here are the most important findings from the T&C:

• FortuneJack requires a 2x wagering requirement after a deposit, on all slots, casino games, and live dealer games before a withdrawal is permitted. This is quite heavy AML (anti-money laundering) rule as most of casinos require only 1x on this.
• If management suspects a player is utilizing their account wallets as an asset mixer rather than for entertainment, they reserve the right to escalate this requirement up to a 5x wagering penalty. This is a rule I have never seen anywhere else.
• Accounts face a 5% monthly administrative fee after 12 consecutive months of inactivity (quite steep price if you forget funds in your account).

VPN usage: I made some searches and FortuneJack seems to be promoted on many review/affiliate sites as “VPN-friendly”.

However the T&Ss state on Clause 2.3, that the casino explicitly states they might be “checking if the connection you are using is via a VPN or proxy”.

So, my recommendation is to turn off VPNs if that is possible, and don’t use a VPN to bypass country restrictions.

KYC Policy 1/2

KYC and anonymity: FortuneJack is not anonymous.

As of September 2024, their terms state: “You are NOT allowed to deposit or play until all data (such as full name, residential address, date of birth) are filled out.”

Also, FortuneJack reserves the right to demand IDs and other documents at any time. T&Cs mention also that a phone call may be needed for full KYC (not sure if this is ever used however).

The KYC documents must be sent in 30 calendar days, and if you fail doing that, your account may be closed.

Reputation & history 0.5/2

Here are a few documented red flags I found regarding FortuneJack.

JackToken failure: FortuneJack launched a native crypto (JackToken), which promised VIP perks, community voting, and platform integration. The project essentially arrived dead, with no exchange liquidity and failing to deliver practically anything. It abandoned early adopters and is viewed by the community as a massive break of trust.

Also, downgrading the license from a stronger Curacao to a weaker (and cheaper) Anjouan license can be seen weakening the trust and reputation on FortuneJack.

The reputation on forums is also mixed, and people are discussing a lot if FortuneJack can be trusted anymore. The casino representatives seem to be doing nothing to make the reputation better. FJ used to be the “big name” in crypto gambling ten years ago, but unless FortuneJack proves otherwise, those times may be gone.

As a whole I have to give FortuneJack only 0.5/2, unless the casino staff will do something to answer to these questions.

Responsible gambling 0/2

On the gambling problem side, I couldn’t find any self-exclusion or responsible gambling tools on my player account.

According to the responsible gambling policy, you have to contact the casino staff by chat or email to enable these features. This kind of sucks as they may delay the process and this doesn’t help someone with a gambling problem at all.

The tools should be there on the player menu, easily found. So I have to give FortuneJack 0/2 on this.

Technical security

Website security: The site uses a standard SSL and active firewall systems.

Account security: FortuneJack offers Two-Factor Authentication (2FA).

Final thoughts

This was my very extensive review of FortuneJack crypto casino. Let’s hope FortuneJack can get things into better shape, and I will definitely change this review to a more positive one.
